Customer Service Rep
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for various administrative tasks to support the sales department. Duties include data entry, relaying messages to the sales team, creating and processing sales orders, and managing customer accounts. The Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, Customer Service, and computer skills.
What You Will Do:
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account status, and relevant problems.
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information.
- Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies.
- Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent Customer Service and customer experience.
- Suggest sales process improvements.
- Generate and process new sales leads as necessary.
- Answer phone calls from customers and deal with problems as they arise.
- Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product.
- Provide any necessary data or reports to the sales team.
- Acknowledge customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls.
- Update all contact information for clients.
- Deal with any customer complaints and resolve the issue as necessary.
- Compile daily lists of leads and delegate individual leads to sales team members.
- Maintain an organized and accessible file system for sales professionals.
- Provide administrative assistance to executives and management team members.
- Perform data entry duties regarding sales figures, metrics, and other key data.
- Create and process sales orders in a timely manner.
- Expedite requests for rush orders and update sales orders and shipping data as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualities and Skills You Will Need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Math Skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office and other computer software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding and knowledge of sales processes.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
