The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, acquiring pricing, scheduling, and inventory control management. The representative will also support the sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates
- Communicate with clients via phone, fax, and email
- Foster relationships with clients to ensure a successful circulation of information and building rapport
- Manage trucking and transportation scheduling of products
- Assist with Inventory Management
- Work with production on scheduling, projects, and specialty orders
- Invoice auditing
- Support the sales department
- Administrative duties as required
- Data Entry with superb attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
- Microsoft Excel experience is required
- Strong Customer Service skills including the ability to always remain professional
- Should be a self-starter who is proactive with strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Manufacturing experience
- Steel business experience
- Service center experience
- Process flow experience in Manufacturing industry
- College degree preferred.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in an office environment, however the employee will occasionally be required to enter a warehouse environment with noisy and dirty conditions.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer and move about an office environment. The employee is also required to move about a warehouse environment for task completion.
