Role Overview:We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Customer Service Sales Associates for our car rental service. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and delightful rental experience for our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will encompass assisting customers with vehicle pick-up, return, and providing exceptional service with a sales-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extend a warm and professional welcome to customers during vehicle pick-up and return, creating a positive first impression.
- Efficiently manage the rental process by accurately documenting mileage, fuel levels, and vehicle condition in our advanced computer system.
- Deliver superior Customer Service by thoroughly explaining rental terms, vehicle features, and presenting optional add-ons including protection plans, upgrades, and equipment enhancements.
- Offer additional support by providing directions, local insights, and relevant service information to enhance the customer's journey.
- Handle inbound calls for reservations, rate inquiries, and general assistance, while also making proactive outbound calls as required.
- Collaborate with management to promptly address any customer-related issues or concerns.
- Ensure a smooth vehicle return process, discreetly assessing damages and guiding customers through the damage/loss reporting process.
- Verify fuel levels upon return and provide accurate rental charge breakdowns, offering well-detailed receipts to customers.
- Provide guidance on transportation to airport terminals if applicable.
- Collaborate with customers to gather feedback, enhancing future rental experiences.
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles for damages upon return and promptly document any mechanical or body damage communicated by customers.
- Organize and tag vehicles identified for grounding or preventive maintenance, ensuring proper lot location.
- Maintain lot organization to facilitate smooth access and traffic flow.
- Embrace working outdoors in various weather conditions, including sunlight, rain, heat, and cold, and occasionally operate shuttle services.
- Perform various job duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
- Keep the ready line area consistently clean and presentable.
- Ensure all vehicles are meticulously cleaned and prepared for customer use.
- Identify vehicles that do not meet our quality standards and initiate the servicing process.
- Fulfill requests for vehicle exchanges, upgrades, and swaps from customers.
- Confirm that all vehicles have completed check-out slips.
- Assist customers in locating their vehicles and offer luggage support as needed.
- Contribute to efficient parking and movement of vehicles throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong inclination towards sales and customer engagement.
- Effective communication abilities for conveying rental details and promoting additional services.
- Keen attention to detail for precise documentation and customer-specific needs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and manage shuttle operations.
- Adaptability to handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Previous Customer Service, sales, or automotive industry experience is advantageous.
