Form of workSugar Bowl Skier Services is responsible for, but not limited to, the sale of tickets, season passes, ski school lessons, retail, rental, and more while maintaining excellent guest service to external and internal guests. Skier Services employees must become familiar with general resort knowledge, the full ticket/pass product line, ski school lesson offerings, and equipment rental options to ensure accurate information is provided to internal and external guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
- Ability to provide excellent guest service in a dynamic, high-volume department
- Experience with a point-of-sale system, credit card management and accurate cash-handling performance
- Must be fluent in English
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Communicate accurate, detailed information on resort knowledge, mountain operations and resort geography, ticket, pass, rental, retail and ski school lessons including product information, pricing, restrictions, locations and meeting times
- Ability to sell/reserve products through RTP One, Sugar Bowl's point-of-sale platform over the phone and in person
- Ability to work independently across multiple sales locations with complete knowledge of each line of business's policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, research and solve guest inquires in a courteous and timely manner
- Perform complex transactions and have a detailed understanding of guest profiles in RTP
- Have extensive resort knowledge to upsell/cross sell products between Tickets, Passes and Ski School products
- Conduct accurate credit card management and cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Maintain a good working relationship with other departments
- Occasional snow removal (snow shoveling)
- Embrace, promote and comply with Sugar Bowl's mission, values, and policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed service level objectives and department goals set forth by SBS management
- Must be able to work holiday periods and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Pay $20.54/hour - $24.14/hour dependent on experience.
