Job Description
Jim's Formal Wear (JFW), the nation’s largest wholesaler for formal wear rental, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. Representatives listen to and offer service/solutions, accept and enter orders, while also addressing questions about and resolving issues with our products, policies, and shipments. We are seeking enthusiastic and organized candidates who work as well independently as they do on teams, and who have the skill to make decisions under pressure yet remain patient and calm.
Responsibilities: Tasks Completed Regularly
- Assisting customers with order processing via multi-communication channels.
- Advising customers about formal wear product styles and sizing.
- Responding to customer inquiries about shipments, returns, and billing.
- Maintaining good records of call activity in customer database.
- Completing office tasks, as required, while maintaining work standards and productivity levels.
Qualifications: Personal Attributions
- Formal wear and/or apparel industry experience strongly preferred.
- Communicate accurately and concisely when relaying information.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent listening skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers, typing, and other office equipment.
- Have worked 1-3 years in a service industry, such as apparel retail, restaurant server, hotel front desk, call center, receptionist, etc.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Available to work 24-40 hours/week, including some evenings and Saturdays, as well as seasonal overtime.
