Description
- Responds to customer inquiries, complaints, and problems.
- Create price quotes; Run recall reports and provide regular updates to the customer.
- Coordinates with production department to provide responses to inquiries/problems. Investigates and logs customer complaints and initiates corrective/preventive actions.
- Evaluates effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions and recommends alternative courses of action.
- Identifies trends in customer complaints and recommends preventive action plans.
- Occasional assistance from supervisor or manager needed to resolve complaints/problems.
- Refers technical or technically related matters to appropriate authority.
- Schedules customer pick-ups of equipment.
- Schedules and coordinates customer priorities.
- Maintains customer special requirements log.
- Conducts customer surveys to obtain customer satisfaction information.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Works professionally by adhering to company policies.
Source of Supervision:
Director of Business Development or Customer Service Supervisor
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a field related to Customer Service or relations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer database and problem solving techniques.
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Understanding of the operation of computers required.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to diffuse potentially angry clients.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints satisfactorily.
Physical Demands:
Sitting for long periods of time.
Working Conditions:
