Customer Service Representative Job Description
Job Duties Include:
· Answer incoming calls and emails, fulfilling the inquiry or directing to the appropriate person.
· Order entry and processing in QuickBooks
· Coordinate outbound shipments with warehouse and logistics providers
· Monitor and track deliveries of customer shipments
· Create shipping labels with appropriate carriers
· Complete invoices
· Customer communication
· Maintain price lists
· Issue credits for returns
· Maintain product part numbers and specifications
· Support outside sales team to build positive relationships with customers
· Ability to describe product features and specifications
· Cross selling alternate products where appropriate.
· Comfortable with making outbound sales calls.
· Assist in reports preparation.
· Must be strongly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Ability to manage a multi-line phone system.
· Build rapport with clients
· Independent ability to prioritize and multitask
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Comfortable working with a variety of individuals, with a positive and professional attitude
Requirements:
· 2+ years administrative or Customer Service experience
· Knowledge of QuickBooks is strongly preferred
· Must be strongly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Bilingual – Spanish is a plus
· Ability to manage a multi-line phone system.
· Build rapport with clients
· Independent ability to prioritize and multitask
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Comfortable working with a variety of individuals, with a positive and professional attitude
· General understanding of accounting
· Some college preferred.
