Job Summary:

Customer Service Representative works directly with customers to process orders

Job Responsibilities:

• Download EDI/Order Entry: Analyze validation report, address any revision changes, price discrepancies, obsolete parts, new parts, orders received with little or no lead-time,etc.
• Manual entry of Customer Orders
• Manage Customer Portals
• Contact customers on any orders received within our standard lead-time
• Negotiate new due dates, if possible
• Work with Master Scheduler and Plant Manager on any short lead-time orders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications (Required)

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
• 3 years of Customer Service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications (Preferred):

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations)

Physical Requirements of the Job:

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
• Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
• Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
• Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
