This is where we need you! Do you want to work for a leader in the food industry with a family friendly culture where people matter? If your answer is yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Customer Service Rep to join our team and represent Derstine's Foodservice!
Hours are 9:00am-5:30pm - Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of our company at the front desk by servicing customers who come into the business to pick up orders
- Provide assistance for both retail & distribution customer orders
- Communicate and work with internal departments and individuals, including Sales, Finance, & Operations
- Create and edit sales quotations and sales orders
- Create and print customer invoices
- Create sales return authorizations
- Document and respond to customer complaints
- Document and follow up on new customer leads and sales opportunities
- Work with purchasing staff to manage & maintain product descriptions
- Other projects as deemed necessary by the management team

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience
- Knowledge and understanding of food service and food service distribution (preferred)
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP business software a plus
- Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen & background check)
- Will be required to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs
