Customer Service Representative

Allers Morrison Insurance Agency located in Woodrridge, IL, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative. Insurance experience is not required as we will train the right person with the right skill set.

• Serveas point of contact for service, maintenance and set-up related to commercialaccounts
• Respondto customer inquiries, answer coverage questions, explain policy features,provide application and quote status updates, facilitate payments, and requestsfor documents. Record all conversations with customers or perspectivecustomers.
• Analyzeand process Certificates of Insurance, auto identification cards, driver checksand Federal and State filings.
• Prepareand process requests for mid-term endorsements either online or by request frominsurance companies
• Managepending renewals; Contact clients on missing renewal applications and documentinteractions.
• Submitapplications online via insurance company rating systems or via directcommunication with underwriters in order to obtain insurance quotes
• Follow-upwith customers as necessary regarding missing information
• Upload,index or attach documents in Document Management System.
• Seekassistance from senior team members when confronted with unfamiliar or complexprocessing transactions.

Qualifications:

• HighSchool diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree a plus.
• 1-3+ years of insurance or officeexperience
• StrongCustomer Service, verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of commercial lines insurancecoverages; especially P&C and Trucking is a plus
• ActiveIllinois Property & Casualty Insurance Producer's License or obtainedwithin the first 6 months of employment.
• Proficientin MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experienceworking with paperless systems. Prior experience with Hawksoft agencymanagement system a plus.
• Abilityto successfully operate in a fast-paced environment that requires staff membersto multi-task, prioritize and perform tasks that are not routine, and beflexible with tasks performed
• Desire to work within a team environment
