Customer Service Representative

Title: Program Coordinator 1

Location: REMOTE (TX-McAllen/San Antonio/Austin)

Duration: 3+ months contract with possible extension

Target Start Date (based on successful onboarding completion): 04/30/2024

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - 40 HRS/WEEK - OT

• Normal work time of 8 am-5 pm.
• The team is currently on mandatory Overtime of 5 hrs weekly (subject to change)
• The employee must reside near the McAllen, San Antonio/Austin office.

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project:

• Review member file and make appropriate outreaches to coordinate member’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Adaptive Aid (AA) items. Review member eligibility and identify appropriate payers and communicate with DME agencies and PCPs to obtain needed information for requested items.

Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

• New Team members will start training where production needs are identified at the time of hire. Team members who have demonstrated proficiency in their area will be cross-trained in different pods. This is normally after team member has been meeting all required metrics (production and quality) with a tolerable error rate. All team members are expected to monitor their own emails throughout the day in order to address any requests or corrections. Team members will address all emails within 1 BD.

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

• 1+ years of RECENT Healthcare Telephonic Outreach Experience (Managed Care/Utilization/Case Management preferred) working from home/remote
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Skype for Business, Zoom, Internet and Multitasking skills navigating multiple systems/monitors.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
