This is an exempt status, non-union position.
Schedule: 5 days a week, SUNDAY - THURSDAY
Responsibilities (See full job description for more details):
- Interact with customer via telephone, email, online, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate special orders, including routing.
- Review customer orders, looking for anomalies, then notify sales or management.
- Ensure contract pricing agreements are followed on all product deliveries, if applicable.
- Confer with sales and operations to expedite or trace missing or delinquent deliveries. Relay information to customer and supervisor.
- Collect and enter orders for new or additional products (Multi-unit accounts).
- Review orders ensuring correct product is sent according to guidelines and quantity is applicable for amount of product on hand. (School accounts).
- Fields customer questions and complaints to resolve issues or problems.
- Research issues of greater technical complexity and present to management or appropriate internal experts for resolution.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.
- Monitor out of stock inventory and report issues to supervisor.
- Assist CSR-I as needed for sales back-up.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions.
- Work closely with other departments to exceed CUSTOMER SERVICE expectations.
- May provide work direction to others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for quality, motivated employees with serious ambition, who has what it takes to close sales and increase our market share. In addition:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in the field of CUSTOMER SERVICE or related field.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
