The Customer Service Assistant supports the Customer Services team in the administration of customer accounts. Performs a variety of administrative duties for the Customer Services department.
- Assists the Customer Services team by providing a variety administrative tasks in support of customer accounts
- Performs basic data entry and reporting through the business unit Material Requirements Planning system
- Supports the teams activities by resolving customer product issues and/or answering questions
- Maintains effective communication with customers
- Assists with the generation of departmental reports and tracking against key performance indicators
- Works to ensure the customers experience with Meggitt products is exceptional
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Skills :
- Service-oriented attitude to cultivate positive customer relationships
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to drive task to completion
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
