Position Summary:
As a Customer Service Patient Coordinator, you will be responsible for influential communication and a smooth transition of new patients into the practice. Your responsibilities will include onboarding new patients; providing exceptional Customer Service while taking new patient calls, intaking all of their information, and scheduling their appointments. Moreover, you will be responsible for taking records on new patients which includes taking and uploading facial and intraoral photos, panoramic x-rays and 3D intraoral scan. Lastly, you will be an assistant Treatment Coordinator. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will build relationships with new patients as you explain treatment recommended, discuss finances and insurance, and be a continued liaison between the patient and the doctor.

· Dental experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
· Use a warm and friendly voice identifying the office first, then self
· Accurately assess and meet the needs of the caller
· Use proper terminology and scripting when dealing with patients to sound professional, but so that the patients can understand and know that we care about their needs.
· Assist in the coordination of practice-building and public relations efforts with patients, parents, referring doctors, and local community
· Greet and welcome all new patients
· Take photos on new patients
· Take CBCT scan on new patients
· Take 3D intraoral scan on new patients
· Upload and crop all records (photos, x rays and scans) for the Treatment and OBS Coordinator
· Greet new patients and orient them to the practice.
· Organize x-rays and sibling records prior to new patient visits.
· Review patient forms during new patient visits and document pre-examination information.
· Guide patients through financial arrangements and prepare appropriate agreements.
· Follow-up with patients in Pending status and unscheduled pre-treatment (Observation) patients.
· Upload and organize all incoming and prepare outgoing x-rays and models/scans
· Confirm receipt of all necessary forms for patients starting into treatment.
· Maintain consultation and exam rooms.
· Handle records and forms for patients transferring into, as well as out of the practice.
· Participate in consultations regarding patient compliance.
· Handle staff portion of pre-treatment recall examinations.
· Follow-up on all missed and unscheduled recall appointments.
· Monitor patients in treatment over estimated time.
· Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment consultations.
· Manage correspondence related to treatment.
· Arrange appointments with other specialists.
· Assist in coordinating practice-building programs with patients, parents, referring and non-referring offices, and within the community.
· Participate in staff meetings.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the OM/orthodontist(s).

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
