FOOP Organic Biosciences is a specialty organic plant food manufacturing company, located in North Bethesda, Maryland. FOOP utilizes a patent pending formula derived from reclaimed fish poo as an alternative to chemical-based fertilizers.
The Customer Service Assistant will assist with incoming phone calls, emails, live chats and messages on social media.
An ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and an aptitude for solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Respond to online chat inquiries from the website, addressing customer questions and effectively upselling products.
- Reply to incoming emails and DMs.
- Engage with social media comments, fostering interactions and identifying user-generated content.
- Send welcome messages to all new social media followers.
- Handle customer messages received through various platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.
- Process orders, payments, and refunds accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer records and update information as necessary.
- Answer incoming customer phone calls during business hours - guidance & training will be provided.
- Manage customer sample requests.
- Track customer orders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Skills:
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and data entry
- Proficient computer skills, familiarity with common social media apps

- $35,000 – 40,000 per annum + commission (target of $50,000 if sale objectives met)
