Customer Service/ Office Assistant

Nations Roof is seeking an Office Assistantto join our team.

This position reports to the Halethorpe, MD location in the greater Baltimore area and will be 100% in office with a Monday-Friday schedule 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Nations Roof is one of the largest commercial roofing contractors ranked in the Top 5 Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large scale new commercial construction, industrial, hospitality, distribution centers, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily, residential, and green roofs to large renovations of existing buildings.

Purpose: Provide client support, take direction and clerical support of a general nature; provides office support assistance to multiple managers and states.

Responsibilities:

• Inbound and outbound phone calls
• Accounts Receivable/ Payable entry
• Process, review, code and input daily outgoing invoices and incoming payments
• Collections on past due accounts
• Assist in receiving and tracking vendor/supplier preliminary notices and lien release requirements, submittals, and releases
• Reconcile Accounts as required
• Make bank deposits
• Post deposits to the accounting system
• An ability to produce a high-volume output while maintaining an attention to detail.
• Review documents
• Assist with project documentation and coordination as required
• Reporting
• Customer Service
• Email correspondence
• Other administrative projects and duties as assigned by manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication required
• Office Construction Background (Preferred, not required)

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent required; BA or BS highly preferred
• 3 years’ experience in an office support position required, construction experience a plus
• 2 years accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
• Must have exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Stable work history
• Must be team orientated and be willing to perform based on the company’s Core Values
