The Online Sales and Service team works hard to offer excellent Customer Service to all 2nd Swing customers and plays a very important role in helping to achieve our mission of Best-in-Class Service. You will play an integral role at 2nd Swing because of your ability to positively impact a very large number of customers and their experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding and passion for the game of golf, be successful in creating customer relationships, and has previous call center or retail-store experience. A positive attitude, high energy, and dedication to professionalism are traits that we look for in potential candidates. We are looking for these individuals who are willing and able to handle multiple tasks, possess great communication skills, and have the desire to learn.
The role is based out of our Eden Prairie office. The online team enjoys a 40-hour work week with flexible scheduling. If you are needing a hybrid schedule with some shifts working from home, that flexibility may be available to select employees after the onboarding process is complete.
Key Functions, Responsibilities, and Tasks
- Engaging current customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services
- Answering phones, emails, and engaging customers in online chat
- Greeting customers warmly, identifying problems or the reason for contact
- Maintain customer accounts by recording and updating account information
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
- Maintain knowledge of products, prices, delivery times, promotions, and similar data
- Assist with the placement of orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Required
- Must be 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or GED
- Computer savvy and excellent knowledge of the Google platform.
- Ability to multitask, handle varying daily priorities and meet deadlines consistently
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of the game of golf, Golf Equipment, and the desire for continued learning
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
- Two plus years of previous sales or Customer Service experience
- Call center experience
