Customer Service Associate
My Garage Door Parts is looking for a motivated, team-oriented candidate to join our quickly growing business. The ideal candidate will have the capability to perform tasks quickly and efficiently. The Customer Service Associate oversees the planning, implementation, tracking, fulfillment and shipping of My Garage Door Parts online shopping website.
Responsibilities:
1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Assist customers with order placement, product inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
3. Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and availability.
4. Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and escalate complex matters to the appropriate department when necessary.
5. Process orders, refunds, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to customers as needed.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and marketing, to address customer concerns and improve the overall customer experience.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of Customer Service strategies.
10. Uphold company values and standards while delivering exceptional service to every customer.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in Customer Service, preferably in an online retail environment.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and Customer Service software.
6. Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to change.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in Customer Service is a plus.
