Alarm Monitoring Operator & Customer Service


We are hiring Full-Time Alarm Monitoring Operators for 2nd shift.

2nd shift hours generally include 2:00pm-10:30pm.

This full- time rewarding position works 5 days a week which will include weekends and holidays.

At Solucient Security &Sonitrol Great Lakes, we serve our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year monitoring our clients property giving them the peace of mind they deserve. As a Customer focused Associate specializing in Alarm Monitoring, you will be joining a team of dedicated, skilled professionals who are committed to our client's complete satisfaction. As a member of the Central Station Monitoring team, you will be the one informing customers of verified alarms, when help is on the way or working with them, offering solutions to ensure they feel their needs have been met.

Our high achieving Client Support Alarm Monitoring Team is excited to welcome a new member to the team to join us in providing a high level of service to our clients. Our monitoring team works at our corporate headquarters at 7241 Fenton Road in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle security alarm emergencies for businesses and homes
  • Process inbound/outbound calls from customers and authority agencies
  • Process integrated video and audio-based alarms
  • Provide detail-oriented Customer Service and empathetic support to our customers with a sense of urgency
  • Provide Support to our Field Technicians
  • Follow company protocols and procedures
  • Maintain full knowledge of new policies and training materials
  • Successfully complete our 4-6 week paid training program.


What you need to make an impact:

  • A burning passion to serve our clients with high standards and Customer Service excellence.
  • The capacity to remain calm, empathetic, and supportive while balancing the highest level of attention to detail
  • 1-2 years of relevant work customer support-related experience in a fast-paced, task-driven environment.
  • Strong computer written, and verbal skills.
  • We are a drug- free workplace
  • Must be 18 years of age with High School Education, GED or equivalent.
