Customer Service / Aircraft Dispatch Representative

Southern Maine Aviation (SMA) is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service / Aircraft Dispatcher to join our team. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Checking in and out training flights
Monitoring airport radio
Answering phones
Establishing flight records
Filing
Sales receipts
Invoices
Processing credit cards / cash / check payments
Scheduling students and renters
Inventory control and fuel accountability records

Experience and Position Requirements:
1 full year of experience in Customer Service
1 full year of basic computer skills
1 full year of QuickBooks knowledge
Must be able to pass background screening
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Becoming and maintaining qualifications as a Test Center Proctor

Other office duties will include:
Research
Ordering supplies and equipment, as needed
Helping plan, develop and participate in company seminars/activities
Keeping all office/bathroom areas clean daily
Other general office duties

Schedule may include weekends, overtime, holidays, and operating hours from 7AM-5PM. Our Summer hours increase to 7AM-7PM (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

The anticipated work week for the off-season would be:

Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The anticipated work week for the on-season would be:
Friday- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Monday- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
