Job Description
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours 8am to 5pm
Candidates must be local to Columbus.
Core Functions:
- Handle customer calls
- Schedule appointments
- Handle/address smart meter install issues (ie. Opt Outs, Hazards, Meter Box Access Issues).
- Attend required meetings onsite, and remote
- Report Tracking
- Safety Adherence
- Duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
- Call Center background as a phone agent that could include Customer Service, collections, and/or fraud taking both in, and outbound calls.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel, and Outlook, and basic experience with Word.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams is a plus.
- Flexible schedule between the hours of 8am and 7pm with a core of at least 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays as needed.
- This position is on site in office at the Gahanna location with potential to work from home-Hybrid.
- This includes having the required wi-fi at home to allow working from home as needed by the client systems.
- Solid history of job retention.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Management or other Human Relations or Marketing related field, or Associate degree in a study listed above with a minimum of 3 years customer contact experience, with knowledge of field activities related to the technical aspects of Customer Services and distribution operations, or HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years customer contact experience, with knowledge of field activities related to the technical aspects of Customer Services and distribution operations.
