Job Description:
Process orders received; reviewing for accuracy of pricing, codes and nomenclature
- Confirm orders, along with all pertinent information, to customer in timely manner
- Provide customers with accurate updates on order status, ensuring expectations are set clearly
- Address customer concerns and complaints; initiating an internal case to capture details when necessary and bringing case to resolution
- Organized and able to multi-task / prioritize to ensure workload is being managed successfully and accurately
- Efficiently and professionally responds to customer and Account Manager inquiries
- Decipher and distribute requests to the appropriate internal departments
- Communicate efficiently with the off-site corporate office contacts
- Set-up customers to access our Web Portal to retrieve available documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
- 2 years prior Customer Care experience preferred; Flavor or Fragrance industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn order processing and data management software
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Effective problem solving skills
- Must be highly customer focused
- Ability to handle customers in difficult situations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to process simple math transactions in various units of measure
