OVERVIEW
As a Customer Account Specialist (CAS) in NAF, you will drive incremental volume growth and sustain existing volume by owning relationships and selling our company product lines and solutions to foodservice operators across K-12, College & Universities, Healthcare, Commercial, Lodging and Business & Industry segments. Our Southern California (It’s Always Sunny in So Cal) team is looking for a self-motivated and driven Customer Account Specialist to cover part of downtown Los Angeles (out to the coast), Northern Los Angeles County and the Oxnard/Camarillo territory.
The Customer Account Specialist will work closely with the local area support team to achieve region volume objectives. The individual is expected to communicate and collaborate regularly with teammates while providing expertise to foodservice operators on products. The Customer Account Specialist will also leverage sales tools and analyze internal reporting to strategically plan daily activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The CAS will also support distributor and industry events.

This role is located in Los Angeles County. There is a temporary cost of living adjustment when you live in Los Angeles County.
Key Accountabilities
- Sustain and drive incremental volume
- Identify and sell in General Mills Foodservice products to key operators across the territory to grow Region volume
- Collaborate with Region’s Account Executives to create and drive pull through demand for core gaps and innovation
Work closely with distributor sales teams to train on our products and partner to deliver wins with foodservice operators - Leverage Analytics and Tools (Salesforce and Excel Based Reporting) to identify opportunities to deliver sales growth
- Develop operator business plans in conjunction with region plans
- Develop strategic geographic call patterns to maximize call coverage with consultative calls and follow the sales process to close the sale and record results
- Develop and leverage local operator opportunities (product and promotion)
- Leverage Analytics and tools (i.e. Salesforce, Firefly) to identify and close on new opportunities
- Develop strategic geographic call patterns to maximize call coverage (16+ consultative calls per week to sell in 25+ additional slots to operators per month)

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Win as a team (team player)
- Self-motivated with ability to maintain workload from remote office
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 + years of industry experience

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $67300.00 - $101200.00 / Annually.
