Job Description

Provides custodial and grounds services at the Hurricane Rest Area sites located on I-64 in Hurricane, WV.  Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Keeps all custodial and grounds maintenance tasks complete and up-to-date.

• Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow with equipment provided.

• Monitor Rest Area grounds and pick up any liter.

• Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies to ensure economical use.

• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.

• Cleans all sinks, commodes, and mirrors.

• All other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned. 

• Various shifts may include: 12 hour shift, weekends, over-night shift.

   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Prior custodial experience required. 
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
