Custodial Technician

St Andrew's at Jennings is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Custodian Technician position at our senior living apartments in Jennings, MO.

Qualifications:

-Independence: The ideal candidate should be capable of performing assigned duties and functions independently, without constant supervision.

-Communication: Proficiency in understanding and following both written and verbal instructions is a fundamental requirement for this role.

- Cleaning Expertise: A strong understanding of general cleaning techniques for various surfaces, including hard surfaces and carpeted floors, is essential.

Responsibilities:

As a Custodial Technician at St. Andrews, your responsibilities will include:

- Adhering to assigned schedules and adapting to any necessary changes.

- Strictly following policies, especially those related to resident rights and confidentiality.

- Adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the St. Andrew's Employee Handbook and Corporate Compliance Plan.

- Compliance with safety regulations and the disaster plan set forth by St. Andrews.

- Execution of daily housekeeping tasks as per the schedule, as well as addressing any unplanned housekeeping needs.

- Following policies related to entering residents' apartments when required.

- Assisting in preparing apartments for new tenants during turnover.

- Maintaining and wearing the provided company uniform during scheduled work hours.

- Performing daily mopping and vacuuming of floors, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance of cleaning equipment.

- Cleaning and disinfecting sinks and toilets in public restrooms.

- Restocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in public restrooms.

- Dusting paintings, pictures, wall fixtures, blinds, and window sills in common areas throughout the community.

- Collaborating with maintenance for snow removal using appropriate equipment.

- Rotating trash dumpsters as needed with assistance from the maintenance team.

- Completing any other related duties as assigned by management.
