- Responsible for administering all aspects of Custodial Department, including fiscal responsibility.
- Trains, develops and supervises site supervisors to ensure high quality and efficient service to all clients and customers.
- Inspects for quality control of contract sites and is responsible for ensuring that quality meets customer parameters.
- Responsible for contract procurement and rapport with customers and office managers.
- Purchases supplies and equipment within allocated budget requirements.
- Maintains appropriate records to ensure financial accountability.
- Maintains and repairs all equipment, including but not limited to, janitorial equipment and assigned vehicles.
- Performs work or supervises others in stripping and refinishing hard floor surfaces and carpet cleaning
- Assists with snow removal of grounds and maintains a snow crew available on call-in basis.
- Distributes supply equipment and payroll to our accounts as directed. Implements orientation sessions for clients and all other employees.
- Ensures all aspects of the program are in keeping with DOL, CARF, OPCRP, SourceAmerica , DOD, ODOT, GSA, SCA and all other applicable accreditation and quality control standards.
- Develops employees who can become successful administrators. Assists Site Supervisor in assuring that program participants who participate in the program are delivered quality service and a positive experience.
- Assists the General Manager of Services in ensuring that the program participants meet the goals of their individual rehabilitation plan.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner that gets along with program participants, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Five years experience in the building services management field and at least one year of management experience.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred but not required, three years supervision in Custodial Contract Services or at least three years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- Must have strong communication skills to coordinate customer needs and expectations and supervise staff.
