Position Summary:
Under direction from the Director of Operations- manage finished goods warehouse staff, inventory levels, and associated ordering thresholds for Wurtec. This includes, but is not limited to allocating inventory, controlling finished inventory, resource management, and continued improvement of responsible areas.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Promote and demonstrate Wurtec’s core values (dedication, hard work, ambition, willingness to accept responsibility, and integrity).
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
- Develop, report and track KPI’s for functions related to demand fulfillment and shipping/receiving.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing Manager to optimize lot size to meet reorder demands.
- Collaborates with Sales managers to determine optimal inventory levels and allocations to meet customer needs.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures.
- Manages recruitment and training of new finished goods warehouse employees.
- Coordinates periodic physical inventory/cycle counts company wide.

Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
- Aptitude for learning company ERP, Epicor.
- Knowledge of SMART Software a plus

Education & Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing facility.
- 5+ years of experience in a related position
- EPICOR experience a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree, in supply chain; or related field (preferred)
Work Environment:
This role primarily operates in a climate-controlled environment, noise levels may be moderate, and job holder may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Sitting and standing for long periods of time, kneeling, stooping/twisting, picking/pinching, and reaching are required in this position. This role requires frequent lifting up to 10 lbs., and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs. Communicating is often necessary in carrying out job duties, near visual acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech. This role is not eligible to considered for remote work.
