Current Products Engineer

Hendrickson is searching for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of assigned projects including working with our customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.
• Designs, validates, provides test reports and sign-off documents, and ensures production readiness.
• Coordinates with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interfaces with other departments in support of the above.
• Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.
• Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste. Helps to assure safety in the lab and office.
• Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required. BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred.
• Experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.
• Demonstrated product innovation.
• Experience working with customers.
• Electrical or brake experience a plus.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and meet product development deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to drive issues to resolution.
