Job Summary:
The Cultivation Technician assists in all aspects of cultivation operations including cloning, vegetative growth, flowering, transplanting, trellising, pruning, bottoming, toping, shaping, spacing and overall canopy management/ maintenance. Cultivation technicians will assist in all areas but will eventually be assigned to a designated department. The individual hired for this position will be assigned to Flower.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensures daily production schedule and goals set by Cultivation leadership are fulfilled with meticulous care
- Cares for the cannabis garden observing plant health and conditions including proper watering/ dry backs, substrate Ph, E.C. and reports issues that may exist such as environmental issues/nutrient deficiencies etc.
- Keeps scrupulously accurate records through MS Excel applying incredible attention to detail in observing and inspecting the plants
- Assists in the setup, monitoring and maintenance of irrigation systems and environmental controls
- Performs plant destruction and plant waste destruction in compliance with department standard operating procedures and state and local laws
- Accountable for accurate tracking and logging of all plants by utilizing the inventory tracking systems.
- Proficient to advance in METRC and CCC regulations
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness of all Cultivation Equipment, Rooms, and areas as well as sanitation practices concerning handling of plants according to Company procedure.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product.
- A passion for cannabis
- Able to demonstrate sound judgement and problem solving.
- Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
- Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Proficient in MS Excel and METRC
- Minimum 1 year of cannabis experience or transferable knowledge
- Reliable transportation to work.
Working Conditions:
- Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift.
- Frequent climbing, crawling, and reaching (including overhead reaching).
- Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Constantly positions self throughout task at hand.
- Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants.
- Occasionally operates power hand tools and other cultivation machinery.
- Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects.
- Occasional lifting, positioning, or moving items up to 100 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
