Title: Crop Care - Cultivation Tech

Work Status: Full Time

Pay: Starting $17-$18 (Depends on experience)

Overview: Free Rain Farms is a 1-acre commercial glass house facility. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, hardworking, detail-oriented, organized team member to join our company. You will learn how to grow in a state of the art greenhouse. The information you will learn here will develop the skills needed to be successful in this industry.

This position will require a lot of hard work. You will be on your feet for 8 hours a day, interacting with the crop, in a climate controlled glass house. It's rewarding and you will learn a lot but it is still hard work. This job will require the team member to have a keen eye for detail and be able to focus on a single task for multiple hours. The applicant must be reliable and consistent. We are looking for someone who has ambition, is a team player, and finds satisfaction in the process of completing a job.

This position will require the employee to work on weekends and holidays when needed.

• Harvest cleanup and tables washing
• General greenhouse cleaning
• Greenhouse maintenance
• Hand watering
• Propagating
• Scouting
• IPM tasks
• Transplanting
• And more

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the ability for critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude
• Passionate
• Self motivated
• Ability to work well with the team
• Computer savvy skills including Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Excel, and compliance software
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lb.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently for moving crops, transplanting, and equipment
• Ability to quickly learn and work through tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Must be 21+ years old

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
