Job Description: Cultivation Supervisor
Location: 69375 Ramon Rd. Cathedral City CA 92234
Reports to: Director of Cultivation
Position Summary:
The Cultivation Supervisor is a vital role within CC Industry LLC., providing direct support to the Director of Cultivation in overseeing the plant cultivation processes for the company's product line. This position involves a blend of hands-on agricultural work, team coordination, and operational oversight to ensure the cultivation department operates at peak efficiency and produces the highest quality product.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivation Execution and Oversight:
- Execute cultivation plans designed by the Director of Cultivation.
- Maintain cultivation schedules from planting through flower to harvest. Manage daily and weekly progress of cultivation schedules as the plan outlines.
- Monitor all phases of cannabis growth, including cloning, vegetative, flowering, and harvesting.
- Maintain adequate inventories for cultivation activities and ensure proper plant hygiene practices of crops as well as associated cultivation areas.

- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise cultivation team members, assigning tasks, establishing teams,
- and scheduling work shifts.
- Train new team members in company-approved cultivation methods and standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Maintain consistent quality control measures to ensure all cannabis products meet company specifications.
- Perform regular inspections of plants for signs of pests, diseases, or other abnormalities.
- Operational Assistance:
- Assist the Director of Cultivation in resource planning, including space, equipment, and supplies.
- Aid in implementing policies and procedures for the cultivation area.
- Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Ensure all cultivation activities are documented according to company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications, plant nutrition, and growth data.
- Facility Upkeep:
- Coordinate with the facilities team to ensure the cultivation area is maintained to standards, including cleanliness, organization, and operational functionality.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Assist in the collection and analysis of production data to identify trends, forecast yields, and optimize cultivation practices.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field is preferred; substantial horticultural experience in cannabis or related horticultural fields may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a cultivation operation.
- Deep understanding of plant physiology, nutrient requirements, and cultivation techniques specific to cannabis.
- Knowledgeable in state and federal laws regarding cannabis cultivation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to operate under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with cultivation management software.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of cultivation space.

- Can you describe the basic schedule for a flower cultivation schedule?
- How many deleafing cycles, how was the trellis installed and managed, was there canopy work, etc?

- Were these departments separated with different supervisors and a division of labor?
- How was the labor schedule organized and communicated?
- Was there regular work plan made?
- If so, who was responsible for creating and providing the work plans?
- How was daily/weekly progress tracked in cultivation?
- Are you familiar with using and establishing KPIs for various tasks with Cultivation.
- Are you familiar with any type of labor tracking software or programs?
- What kind of labor turnover is typical in your experience?
- What is your experience with hygiene and disinfection procedures in the Cultivation space?
- Are you familiar with Hop Latent viroid (HLVd)?
- If so, are you able to spot the virus in the crop by eye?
- What remediation or control methods have you implemented or are familiar with?
- Are you familiar with basic pests and diseases of the Cannabis plant?
- Are you used to working with an IPM dept to help identify and remediate pest and disease issues?
- What kind of lighting was used in previous facilities?
- Are you used to using any type of automation in a Cultivation facility?
- Are you familiar with the process of planting, harvesting, and/or the process of cleanout of a production CMP?
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
