The Multidisciplinary Center is a training and research clinic within the College of Social Work.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Director of Mental Health Services, the Director of Internship Training, the Director of Practicum Training, the Director of the Autism Clinic, the Director of the Attention Disorders Clinic, and the Director of Behavioral Health Services in the management, administrative direction, and the coordination of activities and staff in each of these programs.
Supervises/manages administrative and support staff responsible for interdepartmental services, including purchasing, travel, payroll, telecommunications, computer/network services, & building management.
Supervises/manages administrative and support staff responsible for clinic procedures, including client records, client referrals, scheduling, & communication with clients, parents, & school districts.
Supervises/manages administrative and support staff responsible for cash handling procedures.
Serves as member of the MDC's senior management team and participates in strategic planning, staffing decisions, policy development, and procedures relevant to the operation of the center. Serves in the absence of the Director.
Collaborates with the Director to establish budget priorities and oversee fiscal activities. Collaborates with the Director in the preparation of the MDC's annual grant application to the Florida Department of Education (FDOE). Manages data bases and prepares required quarterly reports and annual reports for the FDOE.
Serves as liaison between school district representatives and MDC staff, ensuring close collaboration to address school district needs and compliance with MDC's goals and objectives. Assists in developing and maintaining University partnerships relevant to MDC's goals and objectives.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and six years' experience related to health and human services or a high school diploma or equivalent and ten years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.)
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree and two years' experience in administration and management in the health and human services field.
Knowledge of clinical procedures with children and families.

Anticipated starting salary range in the low to mid $80,000's, commensurate with education and experience.
