Job Title: Production Associate II
Job Location: Henderson, CO
Job Duration: 6 months on W2
Shift: 1ST SHIFT
Interviews will be conducted onsite and candidates should wear steel or safety-toed shoes for a tour of the shop. The working days are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with available overtime.
HYDRAULIC PRESS BRAKE & SHEAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Daily responsibilities include:
Reading prints / Interpreting drawings
Determining the best sizes of sheets to use to minimize wasted material
Checking machines for proper function
Maintaining machines (Changing brake dyes, filling shear hydraulic oil)
Operating forklift to move pallets of sheets and finished parts
Operating overhead jib crane to move sheets and parts around the work area
Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team (2 techs)
Coordinating with shop leads and manager to form needed parts
Operating forklift to offload steel deliveries
Housekeeping / Organizing steel on racks and in the yard
Keeping inventory of steel sheets on hand
Reporting sheet used per job to shop leads and manager
Job Summary:
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

" Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
" Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

" Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.

" Performs quality inspections. Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
" Delivery Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
" Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
" Achieves production goals. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
" Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks, and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
" Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
" Works with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
" Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
" Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.
" Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
