Job description:
CRS is responsible for receiving and shipping goods in a proper and timely manner in accordance with Mexican and US Customs laws and regulations. Keep records of goods and internal audits in compliance with CBP guidelines and revise unloading and loading techniques to avoid goods damage or loss.
Task and responsibilities:
1. CSR with experience in shipping and receiving and knowledge in import/export documents.
2. Apply company procedures to receive and ship goods.
3. Pick up the customer order in a timely and proper manner.
4. Check material for damage, missing items or lack of information.
5. Manage documents all daily loading and unloading.
6. Work closely with transportation providers to implement best practices.
7. Develop and maintain procedures and get continuous improvements.
8. Perform risk assessment procedures and evaluate internal controls by receiving, shipping and FTZ.
9. Keep accurate records and audit trails of all material received, shipped, or returned.
10. Implement specific job assignments and improve your skills and knowledge.
11. Clearance and audit processes in accordance with CBP guidelines.
12. Apply regulations, company policy and customer requirements in all business unit.
13. Provide guidance on Customs laws and regulations to coworkers and customers regarding inbonds and FTZ.
14. Conducting internal audits and other assignments involving material into FTZ.
15. Prepare and submit reports monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking, writing, reading, listening.
- Supervisory or management experience
- Must know regulations and required documents for shipments export to Mexico and US importations.
- Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Capable of managing continue volumes of goods.
- Import/ Export experience and knowledge.
- At least two years of experience in the field
