Job Summary:
A CSI Development Manager leads the team of CSI Developers and CSI Technical Service Specialists. This role is responsible for organizing the work of their team to maximize utilization of consultant time, develop common work standards, and recommend process changes to WM Synergy management to improve overall WM Synergy business performance. In this role, you will also manage the quoting and queue of work and provide proposals. Constant communication with Project Leads, Management, Consultants, and customers is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sustain and improve customer satisfaction
- Timely and thoughtful interaction with customers gives them the confidence we are addressing their needs.
- Sustain and improve employee satisfaction
- Provide day-to-day support for your team members
- Minimize under-utilization of employee time to the budget for time and materials billing to customers.
- Time and Materials billing is a primary driver in preparing budgets for consulting organizations, and the predictable management of under-utilization allows the business unit to pursue other business objectives.
- Collaborate on sales by producing proof-of-concepts, developing statements of work, and estimates for the level of effort required to deliver business value to customers
DAILY ACTIVITIES
- Analysis of team performance metrics
- Developing team policy, procedures, and work instructions for technical specialists
- Managing workload queue
- Daily communication with Project Leads, management, and customers on deliverables and priorities.
- Recommending changes to department and WM Synergy policy, procedures, and work instructions to support team goals
- Develop work estimates for proposals - committed to a timely response (goal: 3-business day turnaround)
- Review proposals with clients as needed and assist defining scope
- Reviewing plans, dates, and expectations with clients
- Provide support as a CSI Developer and CS Technical Specialist as needed
