As a Crop Consultant, you will work closely with growers to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and promote our range of agricultural products. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on crop management practices, seed selection, fertilization, and pest control.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and services that meet the needs of our customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in agronomy.
- Conduct field visits and evaluations to assess crop health, identify issues, and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Assist with product demonstrations, field trials, and educational events for growers.
- Act as a trusted advisor and resource for growers, providing timely support and guidance throughout the growing season.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
- Previous experience in agronomy, crop consulting, or related agricultural field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of crop production practices, agronomic principles, and crop protection products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with growers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet with growers and visit field locations.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of agronomy.
Salary: $65,000.00 per year plus commission
