Where do you fit?
As a member of Sugar's Projects organization, the Consultant/BA role is integral to help meet team's vision of 'Customers for Life'. The Consultant/BA will wear multiple hats (i) Configure Sugar instances for customers (ii) successfully delivering post sales projects and assist other Sugar project members BA (iii) functionally understand the customers business needs and requirements. Throughout the course of an implementation, the Consultant/BA will work within the SugarCRM Projects team as a functional expert, ensuring the on-time delivery and representing the business in designing and defining the SugarCRM solution.
Responsibilities:
    • Grow the Business. Working closely with Mid-Market Sales team to identify new business opportunities and working during pre-Sales to credential Sugar and PS capabilities
    • Spending 25%-50% of the time in business development activities.
    • Lead projects profitably. Spending 50-75% project delivery activities with billable utilization.
    • Represent Sugar Projects as a CRM expert and Project leader.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of CRM best practices.
    • Coordinate project and manage customer and Sugar resources for project deliverables
    • Work across the SugarCRM organization to ensure customer needs and deliverables are met.  Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Engineering and other members of the Sugar Projects organization to achieve department goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in CRM
    • 3+ years of experience managing projects in a customer facing role
    • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to maintain open communication with all levels of the organization. Comfortable leading discussions and working at the executive level
    • Experience in SMB professional services engagements with Business Analysis and Project Management responsibility
    • Experience in demoing software applications in product pre-sales and/or providing training for customers
    • Experience working with global and offshore teams
    • Understanding of implementation methodology and practices - Agile, SCRUM, etc
    • Experience facilitating requirements sessions with business users, IT and senior management.
    • Experience estimating work effort and in contracting (SOW, change orders, etc.)
    • Experience managing projects - timeline, resources and financials
    • Open to domestic travel (up to 30%)
    • Experience with Sugar products preferred
Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • Passionate, self-motivated with a proven track record in CRM technologies (or similar), enterprise environments and comfortable in the dynamic fast paced environment.
    • Organized and analytical, adept at maintaining client relationships and working in a team environment, able multi-task, to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle competing priorities.
