The Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Inspector General is currently looking for a Criminal Investigator in the Office of Investigations. Join our professional team of auditors, Criminal Investigators, and inspectors who help support DOE's mission through performance and financial audits, inspections of management issues and administrative allegations, and investigations into alleged violations of law.
Qualifications:SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: collecting and securing evidence for criminal, civil, or administrative investigations for violations of fraud and abuse. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following: 1) collecting and securing evidence for criminal or administrative investigations; 2) Utilizing investigative techniques to establish facts or evidence for an investigation; and 3) gathering evidence through interviews and surveillance to improve investigation strategies.
