Credit/Collections Specialist

ThorWorks Industries, Inc. is seeking applicants for Credit and Collections to complete our team in the Sandusky, Ohio corporate office. The ideal candidate will be hard working, of good character, self-starting, and a quick learner.

Job Duties include:

· Review credit applications to determine recommended credit limits.

· Contact and follow up with credit references for customer credit applications.

· Review accounts receivable reports to monitor customer accounts.

· Communicate with customers regarding past due balances via phone, email, certified letter, etc.

· Prepare bi-weekly notes regarding customer accounts to present to management and sales.

· Prepare credit requests for customer returns and/or billing adjustments.

· Manage and file liens as needed.

· Attend small claims court as needed.

· Prepare various ad hoc reports for management and/or other departments as needed.

· Filing and various other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements include:

· Minimum 2-3 years of credit and/or collections experience

· Organizational skills and diligence are absolutely critical

· Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter

· Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere as well as independently

· Strong basic math and analytical skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word with the ability to quickly learn new programs

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

· Professional and customer service focused verbal and written communications skills

· Experience with an ERP system is preferred

· Must have vehicle on site for travel to other buildings on local campus
