As a Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for managing the credit and collections process, maintaining accurate financial records and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Credit Manager Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process credit applications for new and existing customers
- Monitor credit limits and terms, ensuring they align with company policies
- Analyze credit reports and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Proactively contact customers with outstanding balances to secure payment
- Negotiate and establish payment arrangements, when necessary
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all credit and collections activities
- Generate reports and provide regular updates to the finance team
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with clients and internal departments
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner
- Follow up on overdue invoices and payments
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in credit and collections
- Start legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time
- Process payments and keep customer records up to date
Credit Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 5 Years of experience
- Previous experience in credit and collections or related finance roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit evaluation
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Patient and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Persistence and determination
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and creating a rapport based on trust and mutual respect
- Ability to persuasively and tactfully able to speak with clients regarding debt

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
