As a senior member of our provider credentialing team, you'll help us vet and document the competencies of physicians and other providers in our networks. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * This position does require that you live in Texas, as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary source verifications
  • Process initial provider applications and re-applications including initial mailing, review and loading into the database tracking system
  • Conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance
  • Demonstrate great depth of knowledge/skills in own function and act as a technical resource to others
  • Help develop credentialing policies and procedures and, occasionally, oversee primary source verification activities
  • Investigate non-standard requests and problems

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with initial credentialing/re-credentialing in health care industry
  • 2+ years of experience with health care accreditation and regulatory standards including NCQA requirements
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel & Word
  • Demonstrated ability to develop correspondence to facilities and clinicians
