A Day in the Life as an SDMI Credentialing Specialist: You will complete and maintain all physician and facility credentialing/re-credentialing requirements including malpractice insurance applications while maintaining and updating physician CV’s, medical licenses, DEA licenses and state pharmacy licenses. Track physician CMEs. Transcribes business correspondence and interoffice memos. Answers and directs calls to the appropriate departments. Maintain interoffice and emergency contact phone lists. Assist radiologist, supervisors, and leads with administrative projects and assignments. Create flyers and interoffice memos as requested. Maintains schedule for Conference Rooms. Coordinate ordering of flowers, plants and baby gift cards for employees. Back-up to Office Manager for the following responsibilities: Letters of Agreement, Daily Reports, Posting Mail. Provides administrative support to doctors. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.

• You have experience with medical terminology

To ensure success in this role, you must…

• Be a high school graduate or equivalent with 2 years of administrative knowledge that includes provider and insurance credentialing
• Have exceptional customer service and computer skills
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Have good organization skills with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple phone lines
• Be self motivated with the ability to work independently

You can expect to earn an hourly rate of $20+ (based upon experience)
