Job description

Summary

Performs activities related to credentialing and re-credentialing of new providers. This colleague will also work with new payor enrollment, so insurance backgrounds are very helpful! Will works closely with HR and Operations to assist with onboarding clinical and professional students through internship, externship, shadow and other learning experiences. This will involve researching current schools contracts with HSHS. 


Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Health Care Administration or related field is preferred.

 

Experience

3 years clerical experience is preferred.

3 years of experience in healthcare is preferred.

2 years of Hospital Credentialing or Payor Credentialing experience is preferred.

 

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is preferred.
