Join our clients dynamic healthcare team as a Credentialing Specialist. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical credentialing and enrollment processes. This position involves hands-on experience with various tools, systems, and regulatory bodies, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining the highest standards in healthcare credentialing.
Schedule: Hybrid Monday & Friday, in office Tuesday-Thursday 8-5.
Responsibilities:
As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing credentialing applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining the accuracy of the credentialing and privileging database system. You will play a crucial role in coordinating provider applications, conducting primary source verification, and tracking the expiration of certifications and licenses.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent credentialing experience
Desired certification: CPCS, CPMSM, or PESC
Membership to NAMSS or Florida NAMSS preferred
Hands-on experience with:
Software: Word, Excel, Email, Adobe
Sites/Systems: CAQH, NPDB, PECOS/NPPES, FL MMIS, AHCA Background Screening, Credentialing Systems (Cactus, Modio, Verity, Echo, CredentialStream, Qgenda)
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of licensing and certifying bodies, managed care systems, and contract-related primary source verification activities.
Certification or training in related areas strongly preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience preferred

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
