We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our General Surgery and Burn Specialists division located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must have the ability to multitask, work well with others as part of a team, and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office. Room for growth opportunities within this exciting team!
Primary duties include front office duties as well as collecting patient information, escorting patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. This position will be very hands-on, with burn/wound care daily.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday (no weekends) Starting pay range, based on experience: $21.13 - $28.59 per hour.

Qualifications:
- New Grads Welcome to apply! Must be certified within 60 days
- Previous surgical specialty or wound care experience is preferred.
- Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, etc).
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
