Motion Designer
PMG is looking for a senior Motion Designer to join our Dallas/Fort Worth creative team to help us build the future of advertising with our digital studio team. The senior Motion Designer will join a studio team that works with ambitious global brands including Nike, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Bose, and Kholer. The senior Motion Designer is responsible for bringing Motion Design concepts to life for digital, social, OOH, and experiential. To be successful in this role, you should have standout 2D and 3D Motion Design skills and the ability to carry through a vision from storyboard to final product.
General Description:
- Formulates design concepts to communicate complex ideas.
- Collaborates with strategists, art directors, designers, writers to create inspired designs concepts.
- Maintains an advanced knowledge of software and trends used in design.
- Develops technical requirements to translate complex ideas into creative narratives.
- Develops animation toolkits for use across multiple projects.
- Researches and develops original art for animation and production.
- Develops and applies Motion Design languages for brand toolkits.
- Performs light video editing as needed.
- Collaborates with internal teams and manages projects with minimal supervision.
- Design motion portfolio required. Portfolio should demonstrate a sense of humor and the ability to write with a unique tone of voice.
- 1 to 3 + years of experience in an animation or design studio, social agency, or brand marketing department.
- Ability to communicate concepts and ideas to others through written and verbal communication.
- Industry-specific knowledge, familiarity with emerging trends in motion graphics.
