KEY OBJECTIVE(S):
The main purpose of the Director, Consumer Advertising is:
- Lead the strategy and day-to-day advertising planning that will drive individual and mass visitation across business verticals.
This role is based in our East Rutherford, NJ office
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create strategy and lead the day-to-day advertising planning that will drive individual and mass visitation across business verticals.
- Provide evaluations on integrated marketing proposals and media kits to increase center and attraction traffic and sales.
- Proven success leading teams in the development of marketing plans and campaigns that include digital, social, radio, TV, print and guerilla tactics.
- Analyze results from each campaign to determine what is successful and what to improve for the next campaign; prepare reports/presentations that recap results of all advertising campaigns.
- Manage agency relationships and ensuring work aligned with strategy and resources are maximized.
- Contribute to market research efforts and link results to future tactics and data.
- Quality control for advertising campaigns and creative assets/media including all forms of media.
- Explore all non-traditional media opportunities local, domestic, and international.
- Track and maintain media budget and flowcharts.
- Contribute to daily advertising metric reports utilizing strong excel skills in combination with a keen attention to detail.
- Maintain Vendor Invoice payments and liaison with accounting team on payment due dates.
- Maintain weekly marketing status charts.
- Liaison with website team to make sure that landing pages and other web experiences correspond with ad creative to drive conversion.
- Lead day to day internal queries from events and entertainment teams.
- Liaison with Entertainment team to track and coordinate marketing initiatives, ideas and timelines.
- Point person for key licensing and attraction partners, tracking weekly notes and checklists for internal and external use.
- Contribute ideas for Marketing led initiatives and programming throughout entertainment center and key retail partners.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing and or advertising with 10+ years of related experience in-house or agency
- 12+ years of advertising/marketing agency experience working with Fortune 500/world-class brands
- Background across entertainment, sports, music, and/or gaming
- Digital and multichannel marketing emphasis
- Design-centric, highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Campaign-oriented across email, OOH, television, digital signage, radio, print, OTT
- Understands television/video/radio production process, has working familiarity with Premier Pro
- Ability to animate content
- Highly conceptual, able to generate and grasp big, newsworthy ideas
- Experienced across social channels, especially Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook
- Well-organized, ability to manage tight deadlines and fluctuating deliverables
- Ability to mentor junior team members
