Creative Assistant/Visual Display Artist

Position Overview

As a Creative Assistant at Savannah Bee Company, your creative buzz will be put to work. Assisting our Chief Creative Officer, you’ll help ensure our brand identity shines through every hexagonal nook and cranny. You’ll craft retail floor displays that are sweeter than honey, and you’ll assist at all photo/video shoots. So, if you’re ready to pollinate the retail world with your creativity, join our hive!

Position Responsibilities

· Assist Chief Creative Officer as needed in all aspects of creative department

· Design and craft retail floor displays that create an artistic, visionary environment that

has a positive impact on sales

· Assist as needed at all photo/video shoots

· Develop creative ideas into working solutions while ensuring concepts are cost

effective

Requirements and Skills

· Visual Display Artist

· Ability to create artwork: painting, paper hanging, 3-D crafting, and carpentry skills

· High level of craftsmanship with working knowledge of power tools is an advantage

· Ability to carry out a concept from ideation to execution

· Detail Oriented

· MUST be based in Savannah, GA but be available for travel as needed (a few times a

year for brand activations in stores)

· Big thinker

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Collaborator with creative team

· Understands and respects Savannah Bee Company’s Brand Identity

· Ability to capture processes of jobs you are working on for social media

· Basic Graphic Design Skills

· Candidates must have a strong artistic background including a fine arts/design

background

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
