Counter Sales

Wm. F. Meyer Co. is a family-owned plumbing distributor serving Chicago-land. We have an immediate need to fill a full-time Counter sales position at our Elgin location.
We are interviewing for a full-time Counter Sales position at our Elgin location. Are you looking for a Sales career that is both rewarding and fulfilling? Do you have a natural ability for developing relationships and working with customers to provide them with the best service in the business? Ideal candidates will have 1-2yrs selling experience, and excellent customer service. Familiarity with plumbing, pipe, and fittings preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Assisting customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at our location
• Process Sales Orders generated at the counter
• Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications and pricing
• Assisting team members in servicing customers and answering phone calls
• Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork
• Maintaining cleanliness of counter area and ensuring merchandise displays remain stocked, current, and organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
