Job Description:

As a member of COTALAND, your role will include offering exceptional service and contributing to the COTA vision of making memories for our guests. At COTA, there is fun at every turn, and we believe every team member should reflect that spirit of fun! You will ensure a positive company image by providing gracious, friendly and efficient customer service to both COTA guests and your fellow team members.

Essential Functions:

• Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent support from the beginning of their experience to the moment they leave our campus.
• Ensure the safety of everyone by thoroughly cleaning all work areas often during your shift.
• Follow department procedures to maintain inventory and process payment transactions.
• Operate and sanitize all karting/ride equipment according to company procedures.
• Educate COTA guests on the entire COTALAND/karting experience with enthusiasm.
• Operate our Soaring Eagle and other amusement rides.
• Make sure seat belts and lap bars are locked and secure.
• Enforce rider restriction and measure height requirements.

Requirements:

• Seasonal position (From Mid-November to late December)
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Understand and communicate quality goals and all COTA information to customers.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and listen.
• Ability to sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but is loud during events.
• Holiday availability required.
